Our Portable Pit Stop Ramps make maintenance a breeze, both track-side or in your garage or shop. The multi-piece ramp is easy to assemble, and once your vehicle is properly positioned, you can remove the center pieces and the inclines to provide considerable space for working under the car and maneuvering around the perimeter. The ramp platform can accommodate a wheel base from 90 to 115 inches wide. Portable Pit Stop Ramps have an approach angle of 10 degrees and raise the vehicle a total of 14 inches. Each piece is 16 inches wide and can fit tires up to 14 inches wide. The total assembled length is 18.5 feet.

The interlocking pieces total 115 pounds on each side, and no single piece weighs more than 40 pounds The ramp system has a total vehicle weight capacity of 6,000 pounds and comes with one pair of inclines. An additional set of inclines is available that will interlock to the front and enable a vehicle to smoothly drive up and down both ends. The Portable Pit Stop Ramps come in a standard model and a racer model. The racer model has removable cutouts large enough to fit a scale that is 15 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall. The standard model does not have cutouts. If your vehicle is really low to the ground, consider using our XTenders to decrease the angle of approach to only 6.8 degrees.

Use the calculator below to determine your vehicle's maximum angle of approach. Then shop for any Race Ramps with an angle equal to or less than your result.

To determine the best angle of approach for your vehicle, we have devised the “yardstick test” below. If you do not have a yardstick, carefully measure out 36" with a tape measure or other straight, rigid object. You may need two sets of hands to get an accurate measurement here.

YARDSTICK TEST

1

Place a 36" yardstick or tape measure at the base of your front wheel.

2

Raise up the yardstick or tape measure until it hits the underside of your car (the spoiler).

3

Measure vertically from the ground to the end of the yardstick or 36" point on the tape measure. Record that height below in inches.

Usage
Please ensure that your ramp is damage-free before use. Never use two ramps on the same side of the vehicle. Use on a flat, level surface and ensure that the ramp makes full contact with the ground. Check that your steering wheel is straight and drive up at a slow, steady pace.
