FAQs

Below are some frequently asked questions about our products.

If you have a specific question, please call us at 844-933-1189.

Always follow the weight capacity guidelines. Most Race Ramps can support 1,500 pounds per ramp, and the weight capacity can be found on the bottom of your ramp. When using your ramps on a hard surface such as cement or asphalt, sweep the area first as rocks and debris can cause the ramps to slide and may cause permanent denting or pitting on the underside. Make sure you center your tires on the ramp.

Don’t overshoot the end - portions of the ramp may be crushed if you drive over the front or side edges.

Always keep your ramps in temperatures below 150 degrees Fahrenheit (65.56 degrees Celsius)by making sure they aren't in direct sunlight for an extended period of time, or in your trunk on a 100-degree day.

Don’t use wood, metal, or other materials with Race Ramps products, and please note that Race Ramps are engineered to work with cars that have high-performance, high-speed rated tires. Do not use them with heavy lug mud tires or extra narrow tires.

If you have additional questions or are having a problem with one of our ramps, please call our customer service team at (844) 933-1189 or (866) 464-2788. You can also contact us online at support@raceramps.com.

All our ramps are 100% solid, made in high-density expanded foam with a rugged anti-slip coating. This patented process results in a product that is extremely lightweight, yet strong and durable. The ramps will not slide, scratch, or otherwise damage any floor type. They even work on ice!

When you attempt to place an order on Race Ramps with a credit card When you attempt to place an order on Race Ramps with a credit card, you authorize our credit card processor to reach out to your issuing bank to place a pre-authorization hold on the funds equal to the attempted or placed order. Race Ramps is the name that will show on your account statement.

When you attempt to place an order on Race Ramps with a credit card, a pre-authorization will be held on your card for each attempt you make. Please confirm that your Bill To address is an exact match to the address associated with your account to avoid any duplicate pending authorizations.

Once your order ships, you will be sent tracking information via email and the payment will be processed. Funds are not deducted from your account until after all the items on your order ship. This matching charge to the pre-authorization will remove the hold. The amount of time the pre-authorized funds are held is based on your banking institution’s pre-determined timeframe. Race Ramps and their parent company Motis Brands have no control over how your financial institution handles pending authorizations. If you have questions regarding how long it will take for a hold to drop off, please reach out to your issuing bank or credit card company. If your order has a backorder or unexpected delay, the pending authorization may fall off before the order has shipped. Please note, the charge will not happen until shipment notification is received. Please make sure funds are available at that point, or the order may not ship.

 Absolutely!

The initial use may leave a slight impression (up to 1/8″) on the surface of the ramp. This is caused by the vehicle tire weight settling the inner core of the ramps and does not affect the strength of the ramp.

You can easily wash your ramps a scrub brush, soap, and water. If you’re on the road, spray WD-40 on and wipe it off with a clean rag.
