72-inch Race Ramps are for those of you whose cars are really low to the ground. They take our popular 56-inch Race Ramps and integrate the optional XTender directly into the design - creating an angle of approach of only 6.8 degrees. This leads up to a 10.8-degree incline (after the nose of the car has cleared the ramp) to get to a final lift of 8 inches off of the ground.

Each ramp can hold up to 1,500 pounds for a total vehicle weight capacity of 6,000 pounds. They have an attached carrying strap for easy transport and storage and split into two interlocking pieces, which gives you even greater maneuverability under the car: once your tires are in place (and chocked!), you can remove the incline portion for additional side access. These ramps are constructed using an exclusive, patent process. They are 100% solid, high-density foam with a rugged anti-slip coating that results in a lightweight ramp solution that is strong yet durable. They will never rust, transfer heat or cold, and won't skid or scuff your floors.

Use the calculator below to determine your vehicle's maximum angle of approach. Then shop for any Race Ramps with an angle equal to or less than your result.

To determine the best angle of approach for your vehicle, we have devised the “yardstick test” below. If you do not have a yardstick, carefully measure out 36" with a tape measure or other straight, rigid object. You may need two sets of hands to get an accurate measurement here.

YARDSTICK TEST

1

Place a 36" yardstick or tape measure at the base of your front wheel.

2

Raise up the yardstick or tape measure until it hits the underside of your car (the spoiler).

3

Measure vertically from the ground to the end of the yardstick or 36" point on the tape measure. Record that height below in inches.

Usage
Please ensure that your ramp is damage-free before use. Never use two ramps on the same side of the vehicle. Use on a flat, level surface and ensure that the ramp makes full contact with the ground. Check that your steering wheel is straight and drive up at a slow, steady pace.
