Trak-Jax Ramps – 7.8 Degree Approach Angle
Key Features:
- 100% Solid lightweight high-density foam with traction coating
- Provide 3" of lift to fit most standard jacks under your low sports car
- Lightweight at 5 lbs.
Trak-Jax ramps were inspired by an auto-crosser who didn't want to buy a new high-priced, low-profile jack just to change his tires at the track. Available with or without a 1.5-inch stop, these ramps lift your car 3 inches so that you can fit a standard floor jack underneath.
They're small and lightweight at only 5 pounds per ramp, so you can easily toss them in the trunk of your sports car for your day at the track. They can accommodate tires up to 10 inches wide, and support up to 1,500 pounds per ramp.
Trak-Jax are manufactured using an exclusive, patented process. They are constructed of 100% solid, high-density foam with a rugged anti-slip coating that results in a lightweight solution that is strong, yet durable.

Use the calculator below to determine your vehicle's maximum angle of approach. Then shop for any Race Ramps with an angle equal to or less than your result.
To determine the best angle of approach for your vehicle, we have devised the “yardstick test” below. If you do not have a yardstick, carefully measure out 36" with a tape measure or other straight, rigid object.
You may need two sets of hands to get an accurate measurement.

Place a 36" yardstick or tape measure at the base of your front wheel.

Raise up the yardstick or tape measure until it hits the underside of your car (the spoiler/splitter/air dam).

Measure vertically from the ground to the end of the yardstick or 36" point on the tape measure.
