In the fall of last year, Race Ramps faced one of the greatest challenges in our history when a devastating fire took out our manufacturing facility in Escanaba, Michigan. The loss had a significant impact.
Although it was the end of a long chapter, it was not the closing of the book. The fire forced us to reforge every part of our business, and it quickly became apparent that there was one factor that could not, and would not, be affected: Our commitment to quality, innovation and the customers who have supported us every step of the way.
For over 20 years, Race Ramps has been proud to design and manufacture award-winning automotive products in Upper Michigan. The commitment to building products that customers trust wasn’t extinguished by the fire. It became the foundation for the decisions that followed.

Much like steel, Race Ramps tempered under the intense heat of adversity and came out stronger and more determined than ever. We weren’t simply replicating their old business; we were determined to forge a better one.
We took on the challenge of rebuilding from the ground up and asked ourselves the question “What can we improve?”. The answer? Modernizing our manufacturing operations, and strategically relocating closer to our parent headquarters in Germantown, Wisconsin, for faster, more efficient shipping.
The new manufacturing process allows us to invest in even higher quality materials and acquire a highly skilled workforce, all with the goal of delivering better performance, refined craftmanship and the durability that our customers have come to expect.
Today, Race Ramps remains committed to American manufacturing and thoughtful engineering. We continue to deliver quality products that make loading, lifting, and working around vehicles safer and more efficient.
Most importantly, we remain committed to the people who helped us get here. Our customers, dealers, partners and supporters stood with usthrough an incredibly difficult piece of our story. Their encouragement gave our team another reason to keep moving forward and reminded them why the work they do matters.
