More Information

Avoid the struggle of dragging heavy steel ramps into position to help your front end clear your lift or platform! Instead, reach for a lightweight set of our 48-inch long hook-nose Rack Ramps.

They have a 6.4-degree approach angle and come with a 3-inch hook. The 14-inch width works with tires up to 12 inches wide. Each rack ramp weighs 9 pounds, and can support up to 1,500 pounds for a total vehicle weight capacity of 6,000 pounds. They provide 5 inches of lift height.

These ramps are manufactured using an exclusive, patented process. They are constructed of 100% solid, high-density foam with a rugged anti-slip coating that results in a lightweight ramp solution that is strong, yet durable.

  • Both 48" ramps have a 6.4 degree angle of approach
  • These ramps will never rust, transfer heat or cold, and won't skid or scuff your floors

Usage Guidelines
Please ensure that your ramp is damage-free before use. Never use two ramps on the same side of the vehicle. Use on a flat, level surface and ensure that the ramp makes full contact with the ground. Check that your steering wheel is straight and drive up at a slow, steady pace. See instruction manual link to review full usage guidelines.

We stand by our Products! All Race Ramps purchases are backed by a 1 year warranty and are guaranteed to be free of defects at time of purchase.

Calculator
Make sure you can sail right up your service ramps!

Use the calculator below to determine your vehicle's maximum angle of approach. Then shop for any Race Ramps with an angle equal to or less than your result.

To determine the best angle of approach for your vehicle, we have devised the “yardstick test” below. If you do not have a yardstick, carefully measure out 36" with a tape measure or other straight, rigid object.

You may need two sets of hands to get an accurate measurement.

YARDSTICK TEST
yardstick test steps mobile
yardstick test step1
1

Place a 36" yardstick or tape measure at the base of your front wheel.

yardstick test step2
2

Raise up the yardstick or tape measure until it hits the underside of your car (the spoiler/splitter/air dam).

yardstick test step3
3

Measure vertically from the ground to the end of the yardstick or 36" point on the tape measure.

Record your height here.
