More Information

It's time to scrap the boards and makeshift ramps! A pair of Multi-Purpose Shop Ramps are a worthwhile investment for any garage. They became part of our Race Ramps family after multiple requests for similar ramps, and we engineered them to suit several common auto shop scenarios.

Use these ramps as a trailer ramp, alignment ramp extender, a 4-post lift ramp extender, a 2-post lift ramp, a jack-assist ramp, or anything else you can think of.Featuring a 7-degree angle of approach with 4 inches of lift, each heavy duty ramp can support 2,500 pounds for a total vehicle weight capacity of 10,000 pounds. They accommodate tires up to 12 inches wide and are lightweight at 17 pounds per ramp. They're heavy duty enough for serious garage use, with a professional look that will elevate any service department.

These ramps are manufactured using an exclusive, patented process. They are constructed of 100% solid, high-density foam with a rugged anti-slip coating that results in a lightweight ramp solution that is strong, yet durable.

  • Use with trailers, 2- and 4-post lifts, standard jacks, and more
  • 7 degree angle of approach

Usage Guidelines
Please ensure that your ramp is damage-free before use. Never use two ramps on the same side of the vehicle. Use on a flat, level surface and ensure that the ramp makes full contact with the ground. Check that your steering wheel is straight and drive up at a slow, steady pace.

We stand by our Products! All Race Ramps purchases are backed by a 1 year warranty and are guaranteed to be free of defects at time of purchase.

Make sure you can sail right up your service ramps!

Use the calculator below to determine your vehicle's maximum angle of approach. Then shop for any Race Ramps with an angle equal to or less than your result.

To determine the best angle of approach for your vehicle, we have devised the “yardstick test” below. If you do not have a yardstick, carefully measure out 36" with a tape measure or other straight, rigid object.

You may need two sets of hands to get an accurate measurement.

yardstick test steps mobile
yardstick test step1

Place a 36" yardstick or tape measure at the base of your front wheel.

yardstick test step2

Raise up the yardstick or tape measure until it hits the underside of your car (the spoiler/splitter/air dam).

yardstick test step3

Measure vertically from the ground to the end of the yardstick or 36" point on the tape measure.

Record your height here.
