More Information

Tow like a pro with our Heavy Duty Tow Ramps! Your customers love their Corvette, Porsche, or other low-to-the-ground car, and you need to show them that it's safe in your hands too.

The 7-inch Heavy Duty Tow Ramps give the vehicle 7 inches of lift over a 5.2-degree angle of approach. They are 74 inches long and 10 inches wide, and are designed for tires up to 8 inches wide. Available in a one-piece or two-piece version, the two-piece version is designed to be used as a singular unit with both pieces, or just as a compact version with one of the pieces. They can support up to 2,500 pounds per ramp, for a total vehicle weight capacity of 10,000 pounds. The 1-inch by 5-inch notch allows you to simply fold the rollback down into the notches and drive on up (or hook up the winch) with no worries about your safety or the safety of the car.

These ramps are manufactured with 100% solid, high-density foam with a rugged anti-slip coating. This patented process results in a product that is extremely lightweight, yet strong and durable. The ramps will not slide, scratch, or otherwise damage any floor type, and the reinforced bottom allows the ramps to be used on gravel or other rough surfaces that you may encounter along the side of the road.

Usage Guidelines
Please ensure that your ramp is damage-free before use. Never use two ramps on the same side of the vehicle. Use on a flat, level surface and ensure that the ramp makes full contact with the ground. Check that your steering wheel is straight and drive up at a slow, steady pace.

We stand by our Products! All Race Ramps purchases are backed by a 1 year warranty and are guaranteed to be free of defects at time of purchase.

Calculator
Make sure you can sail right up your service ramps!

Use the calculator below to determine your vehicle's maximum angle of approach. Then shop for any Race Ramps with an angle equal to or less than your result.

To determine the best angle of approach for your vehicle, we have devised the “yardstick test” below. If you do not have a yardstick, carefully measure out 36" with a tape measure or other straight, rigid object.

You may need two sets of hands to get an accurate measurement.

YARDSTICK TEST
yardstick test steps mobile
yardstick test step1
1

Place a 36" yardstick or tape measure at the base of your front wheel.

yardstick test step2
2

Raise up the yardstick or tape measure until it hits the underside of your car (the spoiler/splitter/air dam).

yardstick test step3
3

Measure vertically from the ground to the end of the yardstick or 36" point on the tape measure.

Record your height here.
