Need to Sell a Car? Feature Hot Models on Race Ramps to Draw Buyer Interest

01/18/2021

In some cases, your ability to sell a car may hinge on your ability to create a display with your car that truly sets it apart. This is especially true if you’re at a car show or other such gathering, where there are likely to be a lot of other vehicles up for sale.

At Race Ramps, we offer a wide range of ramps meant specifically for displays and shows that will help you better showcase your car and make it even more appealing to potential buyers.

The type of ramp you choose will likely depend on the type of vehicle you wish to display. Let’s take a look at a few of the options we have available.

Show Ramps
Show ramps elevate cars to highlight aesthetic lines and eye-catching features

Show Ramps: Our show ramps make for a quick and simple way to add a lot more visual interest to your vehicle display when at a show, or when you’re setting your vehicle up to display at a sale or auction. They feature double inclines that can be used to raise up the front, back or side, or you can get two sets to raise the entire body. The result is a display that isn’t extremely dramatic but highly effective and safe, thanks to its anti-skid design. Each ramp is capable of holding up to 1500 lbs. and is ideal for tires with widths of up to 12”.

16 inch Articulation Ramp
Articulation Ramps are the perfect way to showcase an impressive suspension

Articulation Ramp: This type of ramp is ideal for displaying off-road vehicles such as ATVs, UTVs, Jeeps and certain kinds of trucks. The incline here is about 23 degrees, but it features a longer ramp and a flat top to create a more dramatic, impressive suspension as a means of showing off the off-road capabilities of your vehicle. Each ramp holds up to 6,000 lbs. and allows a tire width of up to 14”. If you’re selling large, off-road vehicles, this is your best option for creating an attractive, appealing display.

Roll-up Ramps
Drive-up roll-up ramps make showcasing vehicles easier than ever

Roll-up ramps: These ramps, designed to be used with Race Ramps’ 56- or 67-inch XT Race Ramps, are ideal for low-profile cars. They can be used in maintenance settings, but they also add some great visual interest for sports cars or classic cars that you wish to display at a show or sale. They have a slight angle of approach (11.9 degrees), so the effect isn’t nearly as dramatic as the previous ramps on this list, but when used with sports cars you don’t need much incline to amp up the “cool factor” for your display.

10-inch Wheel Cribs

Wheel Cribs: Race Ramps has several types and sizes of wheel cribs in stock. These cribs are safer to use than jack stands and much more attractive. Their simple anti-slip, lightweight foam design makes them easy to carry around and set up anywhere you need them. They can be used in maintenance settings, but many car enthusiasts also find them to be ideal for shows, especially when used in conjunction with a show mirror for added effect. They’re capable of supporting up to 1,500 pounds per crib and tire diameters of up to 24 to 30 inches. Race Ramps offers them in 8”, 10” and 12” sizes.

Pit Stop Ramps
Pit stop ramps customize your display in the best possible way

Pit stop ramps: These ramps feature a slim profile and a simple, attractive way of elevating the vehicle both for practical and aesthetic purposes. The ramp provides 14 inches of lift and is able to hold wheel bases of 90 to 115 inches and tires up to 14 inches wide. Each ramp is capable of supporting up to 1,500 pounds for a total support of 6,000 pounds.

To attract the most attention to your vehicle at an auto show or a big sales event, consider how you can use these types of ramps to make a statement and make your vehicle stand out from the rest.
