Race Ramps offers wheel cribs in multiple sizes, with a choice of two configurations. We get down to the nitty gritty to explain the features and highlight the best way to use them so that finding the best wheel cribs to outfit your garage is simple and easy.

Made of the right stuff
Just like our Race Ramps, our wheel cribs are manaufactured in the USA from proprietary materials with a fully-enveloped high-traction coating. The cribs are inspected with the same rigorous quality control that Ramps Ramps is known for before they ship out to our national and international customers.
The lightness of our products is a huge advantage thanks to the strong interior construction. As one Amazon reviewer succintly put it: “A toddler could easily use these for building blocks.” All pieces weigh no more than 2 to 3 pounds.

Let’s talk dimensions
All Race Ramps Wheel Cribs are engineered with a curve to fit tires with diameters from 24 to 30 inches, so that shifting simply doesn’t occur once the wheel is resting in position on the crib.
Our multi-purpose cribs fit tires up to 12 inches wide, and are intended more for everyday use on a variety of vehicle make and models – whether you need to get under your daily driver, or want to display a hobby car at a show. They are available in three heights: 8 inches, 10 inches or 12 inches. The 12-inch model is great for lowered cars because it gives you that extra bit of lift for underbody access, whereas the 8-inch or 10-inch models might only need a little boost to access those same areas.

Our supercar cribs start at 10 inches high, and are also available in 12-inch and 14-inch heights. These cribs are manufactured wider than our multi-purpose cribs to accommodate larger low-profile tires and/or racing slicks up to 16 inches wide.
Two-piece design for gradual lift
The most distinguishing feature of our wheel cribs is whether they are a single piece or tiered. In addition to the standard curve on the top piece, the lower interlocking section also has a slight curve. Not only does this design give you the option to do a half lift or a full lift depending on what you need that day, it allows you to gradually achieve the full lift which is the safest way to get your car up on the higher cribs such as the multi-purpose 12-inch high two-piece cribs or the supercar 14-inch two-piece cribs.
When to choose cribs over ramps
Although driving up Race Ramps is a much easier way to access the underbody, when you’re working in a tight space such as indoors in your garage, wheel cribs are the way to go. Using wheel cribs also doesn’t require firing up your vehicle, which can be problematic if you’re working in an enclosed space and want to avoid creating exhaust fumes.
