More Information

This set of 6-inch high trailer ramps makes loading your race car, sports car or other low-profile vehicle an easy, scrape-free process on track day, at a car show, or during a multi-state trip.

Use our trailer ramp calculator to make sure you're choosing the ramp that's tailored to your car and trailer needs. Both 6-inch high trailer ramps measure 45 inches long and have an 8.2-degree approach angle. Each lightweight 7.5-pound ramp can hold up to 1,500 pounds and comes with a built-in carrying strap. They are ideal for tire widths up to 12 inches. To use them with your trailer, simply lower your trailer door down into the 5-inch long by 2-inch high notch and drive your car up and into your trailer - it’s that easy!

These trailer ramps are manufactured using an exclusive, patented process. They are constructed of 100% solid, high-density foam with a rugged anti-slip coating that results in a lightweight ramp solution that is strong, yet durable.

Usage Guidelines
Please ensure that your ramp is damage-free before use. Never use two ramps on the same side of the vehicle. Use on a flat, level surface and ensure that the ramp makes full contact with the ground. Check that your steering wheel is straight and drive up at a slow, steady pace. See instruction manual link to review full usage guidelines.

We stand by our Products! All Race Ramps purchases are backed by a 1 year warranty and are guaranteed to be free of defects at time of purchase.

Trailer Ramps

Is your trailer door too steep to get your car to the track or autocross? Are you tired of hauling around heavy, unsafe boards to use as a makeshift ramp extension? Race Ramps has the solution for you: simply place your trailer door on the notch of our specially-designed Trailer Ramps and decrease your angle of approach to as little as 4.3 degrees.

These hassle-free, lightweight ramps are ideal for low-ground-clearance cars with extra-wide tires. Numerous size options are available in our one- and two-piece designs, with and without flap cut-outs. Use our ramp calculator above to determine which Trailer Ramps will work best for your car and trailer, and let us know if you have any questions. We are happy to make a custom set if our standard options don't work—just give us a call!

Trailer Ramps are 100% solid, made with an exclusive patented process that coats high-density expanded foam with a traction surface for a lightweight ramp solution that is strong yet durable. The ramps will not slide, scratch, or otherwise damage any floor type and can hold up to 1,500 lbs. per ramp for a total vehicle weight capacity of 6,000 lbs.

Step 1: Your Trailer

Both enclosed and open trailers work with our Trailer Ramps. If your stock trailer ramps have an additional fold down ramp/flap, you can fold it up, remove it, or purchase a ramp that has a flap cut-out built into the ramp (check the appropriate box below).

To determine the best angle of approach for your vehicle, we have devised the “yardstick test” below. If you do not have a yardstick, carefully measure out 36" with a tape measure or other straight, rigid object. You may need two sets of hands to get an accurate measurement here.

YARDSTICK TEST

  1. Place a yardstick/tape measure at the base of your front wheel.
  2. Raise up the yardstick or tape measure until it hits the underside of your car (the spoiler).
  3. Measure vertically from the ground to the end of the yardstick or 36" point on the tape measure. Record that height here (in inches).
